سيواجه اليابانيون حر هذا الصيف بشراب "بيبسي الخيار المثلج" الذي سيطرح حصرياً في اليابان. فقد طرح المشروب الغازي، الذي لا يدخل "الخيار" ضمن مكوناته، بل نكهة اصطناعية تماثل "الطعم المنعش للخضار، في الأسواق اليابانية، وفق آيا تاكيموتو، الناطقة باسم "سانتوري"، الموزع الرسمي لشركة المشروبات الغازية الأمريكية، بيبسي.
نكهة فريدة تشعر المستهلك بلطف الأجواء خلال حرارة الصيف !!!
وقالت تاكيموتو: "أردنا نكهة فريدة تشعر المستهلك بلطف الأجواء خلال حرارة الصيف.. فكان الخيار مثاليا،ً" نقلاً عن الأسوشتيد برس. وسيباع المنتج الجديد، الأخضر اللون، حصرياً في الأسواق اليابانية، ويتوقع أن تبلغ مبيعاته خلال أشهر الصيف الثلاثة نحو 200 ألف عبوة.
وتتوارى "بيبسي"، خلف عملاق المشروبات الغازية "كوكا كولا"، حيث تستأثر بـ15 في المائة فقط من سوق تلك المنتجات. كما تواجه منافسة شرسة من قبل منتجي المشروبات غير الغازية، كالشاي الأخضر والقهوة المثلجة، الرائج استهلالكهما في اليابان.
ويذكر أن اليابانيون إستهلكوا 20.5 مليون مشروب غازي من منتجات بيبسي خلال العام 2006، وفق الشركة الموزعة.
